INAUGURAL RELEASE!
2024 KLEINLERER DANCIN’ SOPHIE RED WINE – 100% Cinsault
Bruella Ranch (Organic)
Lodi, California
You can – and should – chill this wine. Then pour, drink, and dance the night away!

Cinsault. Pronounced San-So. I have been featuring this grape in my Rosé for two years. This year I decided to experiment by producing a fully red wine out of this light colored, fruity grape. I have been so excited whenever I tasted this wine out of barrel. This wine to me is bottled fun. It’s happiness in a glass. It’s watermelon jolly rancher, raspberries, red plums, and who cares. Just chill it and drink it. And then you’ll get why this is called Dancin’ Sophie.

The Cinsault grapes for Dancin’ Sophie are grown in an organic vineyard in Lodi, the same one as the Cuvée Sacha & Nitza Rosé of Cinsault. However, these grapes are harvested one week later. That extra week adds layers of complexity, gorgeous acid, brighter fruit notes, and wet stony pebbles that make this wine extra special. Fermented in bin and then aged in a blend of neutral French oak barrels and stainless steel, Dancin’ Sophie is the wine I will spend all spring and summer drinking because it’s simply that good.

And just why is this wine called Dancin’ Sophie? Sophie is the easy part. That’s Mrs. Kleinlerer. But why Dancin’? Whoever is the first to figure out the preposterous reason behind the name will be rewarded! (And if I already told you, you are ineligible!)

Only one barrel produced!

Oh…and did I mention…every 2024 vintage of Kleinlerer Wine is certified and not mevushal. (The production style has not changed. The only difference? The holy hands that touched the wine with my direct supervision and instruction).
