2023 Kleinlerer
Skin Contact Chenin Blanc

Clarksburg, California

Organically Farmed | 36-Day Skin Contact | Two Barrels Produced

Sourced from an organic vineyard in Clarksburg (California’s most famed region for Chenin Blanc) bordering the beautiful Sacramento River Delta, a region reminiscent of the Loire Valley…minus the castles. This is a seriously badass wine with great attitude!

WOW! I LOVE THIS WINE! It’s refreshing with bright fresh fruit, amazing food-pairing acidity, awesome texture with slight weight from the skin contact, and, this year, a bit of oxidation.

What do you pair with it? Friends and food. (My lawyer is insisting that I write that friends are not food.) You want specifics? Salads, sushi, fish, goat cheese, chicken, anything with pesto. Be creative and decide for yourself!

And yes, the wine is supposed to be a bit cloudy. It should be served chilled…but leave it out of the refrigerator for 20 minutes before opening. You’ll be rewarded for your patience.

Cuvée Sacha & Nitza
Rosé of Cinsault

Lodi, California

Organically Farmed | 100% Cinsault | Two Barrels Produced

Kleinlerer Cuvée Sacha & Nitza is named in memory of my parents.

I love Rosé. Neither a white nor a red wine, Rosé stands uniquely on its own and shares qualities of both styles of wines. This Cinsault – or Black Malvoisia Clone 3 – is organically farmed in Lodi. The sandy soils along the Mokelumne River drain easily resulting in a bright, refreshing lighter rosé with notes of strawberry, watermelon, and floral notes, balanced with high acidity. It is reminiscent of a Provençial rosé yet balanced with the structure and minerality of California. These grapes were harvested one week before the Cinsault for Dancin’ Sophie Red Wine. And, of course, like every Kleinlerer Wine, it is produced by hand using indigenous yeast, and aged in neutral oak barrels. It is unfined, unfiltered, and produced with minimal sulfur. It’s supposed to be cloudy. Cloudy = delicious and natural!

This wine reflects the wonderful memories I have of my parents, after whom I named this Rosé. My parents, Sacha and Nitza, were very special people from unique and diverse backgrounds. Their devotion to each other created a home where they shared their love, support, and passions with my sister and me, and with those who were lucky to have known them.

I invite you to raise a toast of Kleinlerer Wine with those you love.

2024 Kleinlerer
Dancin’ Sophie Red Wine

Lodi, California

Organically Farmed | 100% Cinsault | Chillable Red Wine | One Barrel Produced

Place this bottle in the fridge for 20 minutes and it will turn into your spring and summer wine!
Or drink it at room temperature.
Either way, you too will be dancin’!

I cannot get enough of this wine. I was energized and ecstatic every time I tasted this Cinsault wine as it aged in its neutral French oak barrel. Bright, zesty, acidic, flavorful…this is the wine I am going to be drinking all summer.

Chill it or drink it as is. It doesn’t matter! There are no rules!

Cinsault is an obscure grape that is often used for blending. But once you taste it, you’ll agree that blending it away is a missed opportunity. With only 200 acres of this grape grown in all of California, this wine is a rarity. I love this wine, and I know that you will too!

And, of course, like every Kleinlerer Wine, it is produced by hand using indigenous yeast, and aged in neutral oak barrels. It is unfined, unfiltered, and produced with minimal sulfur.

Magnums limited to one (1) per customer/household.

NEW RELEASE!
2023 Kleinlerer
Pinot Noir

Sonoma Coast

Organically Farmed | 25% Whole Cluster | Three Barrels Produced

Born on the edge of the Pacific, this Pinot Noir reflects the wild beauty of the Sonoma Coast. Morning fog drifts across the mountaineous slopes, slowing ripening and giving the fruit its signature perfume, freshness, and finely tuned acidity. The result is a wine that’s light on its feet, savory, and lifted. It’s an elegant expression of coastal Pinot meant to evolve gracefully over time

Farmed organically, the vineyard is nurtured without synthetic chemicals, allowing the soil, plants, and ecosystem to thrive in balance. That philosophy extends into the cellar: hand-harvested fruit, 25% whole cluster fermentation, indigenous yeast, aging in neutral French oak, and with minimal sulfur. Bottled unfined, unfiltered, and with minimal sulfur, this Pinot Noir is a pure reflection of the Sonoma Coast: wild, rugged, and gorgeous (although containing 100% fewer migrating whales).

Silky and refined, yet mouthwatering and vibrant, this Pinot Noir will ignite your passion for food and wine as it is equally at home with duck, skirt steak, BBQ, pasta…OK, now I’m hungry. This gorgeous wine is made for lovers…of wine, food, and people. Though ready to drink now, its elegant structure promises years of development ahead. But why wait? Pop the cork, sit back, play a classic Nina Simone and sip the beauty that is Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir.
